Earth heat sources for heat pumps – flat collectors
Houdek, Milan ; Štětina, Josef (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to summarize the types of flat collectors and to compare them with the other sources of heat for heat pumps from the investment standpoint. Then to compare this kind of heating with the other kinds of heat sources for households in light of investment and operation costs. Finally, to find out usability of this heating source based on above-mentioned criterions.
Using a heat pump
Tretera, Robin ; Křivík, Petr (referee) ; Jandová, Kristýna (advisor)
This diploma thesis provides basic information about the thermal pumps and photovoltaic systems. The heat pumps are described regarding their construction and sources of low potential heat. The description of photovoltaic systems explains the main principle of transformation the solar light to electric power and possible cooperation of this systems with the heat pumps. In practical part of the thesis there is a description of the assessed building and calculation of its thermal losses. It is followed by three designs of the thermal pump systems which are supposed to replace the original way of heating - the electric boiler. One of the designs is supported by photovoltaic system. The final part of the thesis provides the calculation of required heat sources for house and water heating, the operation expanses of all three heat pump designs, prices of electric energy and economical reliability of described solutions.
Low potential heat for electrical power generation
Dobiáš, Jiří ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Bartošík, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with low potential heat sources for electrical power generation. It mentions primarily low potential heat sources, their distribution by origin and where you can find such resources. Another part deals with the technology that uses low potential heat to heat production of higher temperature level and power generation. These are discussed here with a heat pump, regenerative heating, Stirling engine, solar collectors, Peltier cells, etc. In addition is to their use in practice. The last chapter deals with the replacement of the heater in the regeneration heating coil from the solar collectors. It is thus the use of renewable energy sources. Carry out technical and economic calculations for the real utility of such a plan.
Design of heat pump
Daxner, Ján ; Lachman, Jakub (referee) ; Toman, Filip (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design the main components of the heat pump on the basis of specified parameters. The first theoretical part is an introduction to the problem of heat pumps. It describes types of heat pumps, energy sources and their advantages and disadvantages. In the second calculation part, the calculation was performed according to the entered parameters on the basis of which the heat pump components were suitably selected.
Compilation of physical model of air-water heat pump
Maléř, Kryštof ; Pěcha, Jiří (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design and build the physical model of a heat pump based on the air-water conception. The first part of thesis is focused on the description of the principles of heat pumps and their various kinds. Next part deals with the design of the specific heat pump. This part also involes a detailed description of used components and documentation for construction. The heat pump was then assembled and the basic operating characteristics were mesaured.
